Undergo your own extended research! Find another theory (e.g. Big Bounce) proposed by scientists that explains the birth of the universe. Write an essay comparing your theory to the Big Bang and conclude which theory is more plausible based on the evidence you have researched.

Criteria:

• Essay must include an explanation of the theory, including what it suggests/clarifies and a brief historical context.

• Essay must present evidence of the theory and explain how it supports the claim.

• Essay must compare and contrast between the researched theory and the Big Bang theory.

• Essay should conclude which out of the two theories is more plausible and provide reasoning.
